About me
Karen was born and raised in central Ohio. She has been married to her husband, Jay for 40 years and they have raised two sons and a daughter. They now get to enjoy 7 grandchildren ranging from ages 1 to 9 years old. Karen moved to Florida with her family in 2002 and started working for the City of Eustis in July 2005. Karen is currently the Human Resources Coordinator for Eustis. Her role is primarily hiring new employees, employee orientation, and employee benefits. She also handles the city’s workers compensation claims and benefits. Through the Florida Center for Public Management at the Florida State University, Karen has earned her Certificate in Supervisory Management and then completed the course to become a Certified Public Manager. Karen is also a HR Certified Professional through International Public Management Association (IPMA).
